Schools now safer after Teachers get the Jab

Schools are now officially safer now that some schools have had up to 80% of their staff vaccinated against Coronavirus, a head teacher has said.

Mr Cleaves, a headteacher from Bleasdale Primary school in Preston said that the majority of his school’s staff have received the miracle vaccine, and most of them are due to have received both doses by the summer.

He said “I think that all key workers should be vaccinated as soon as possible. And that includes the teachers who have been working on the frontline by staying home while the schools have been closed since December.”

“So far, 8 out of ten staff here have received their first vaccination. The plan is to have all staff fully vaccinated by the beginning of the summer holidays so that they can go abroad. It’s also good for the students”.

Apparently, there have been mixed feelings at the school, especially from the staff who have been at work during the lockdown. These staff said things are bitter-sweet, as they are glad that things are showing signs of returning to normal, although that does mean that children will have to go to the school.

The rollout of the vaccine has probably been the single biggest area of achievement since the beginning of the pandemic, if not mankind. The logistics required for such a large operation are extremely complicated, and it’s good that that the government were able to pull it off, despite not being so competent when it all started back in March 2020.
